SERRATIOPEPTIDASE (NSAID)

• Belonging to trypsin family, possesses broad substrate affinity and has been to be reported therapeutically useful in the management of pain and inflammation.

• Shown to enhance the activity of several antibiotics including ampi-cillin, ciclacillin, cephalexin, minocycline and cefotiam.

• Effective in removing the deposits of fatty substances, cholesterol, cellular waste products, calcium and fibrin on the inside of the arteries as it digests non-living tissue and leaves live tissue alone.

• Effective in the treatment of osteoarticular infection (Okumura H et al.), exerts better anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling effects in the postoperative period.
