Description
- In bacterial corneal ulcer is preferred over the combined fortified tobramycin and cefazolin therapy.
- Preoperative prophylaxis is useful in eliminating conjunctival micro-organisms.
- Effective in quick prophylaxis against infection following suture removal in an outpatient setting.
- Penetrates better than ciprofloxacin into the aqueous of eyes reaches more than 10-fold greater concentration than ciprofloxacin.
- Ophthalmic solution of Ofloxacin 0.3% is effective and safe in the treatment of patients with culture-positive bacterial keratitis Cornea.
