- Effective therapy for treating bacterial infections in children.
- Well established broad-spectrum antibacterial treatment in the treatment of Acute Otitis Media in pediatric patients.
- Amoxicillin/clavulanate was clinically and bacteriologically more effective than azithromycin among children with bacterial AOM, including cases caused by penicillin-resistant S. pneumoniae and beta-lactamase-positive H. influenzae.
- High dose amoxicillin/clavulanate (90/6.4 mg/kg/day) was highly efficacious in children with acute otitis media.
