RABIN-XPRESS Tablets
Fast got faster to Combat Acidity with Dual Power
COMPOSITION: Rabeprazole 20mg (Sodium bicarbonate as bufer)
Description
Buffered pantoprazole tablet effectively increases the pH of gastric content above 5 which protects it from acid degradation.
Rabeprazole sodium
- Rabeprazole sodium is an antiulcer drug in the class of Acid- or proton-pump inhibitor that inhibits basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion.
- Successfully treats some atypical GERD manifestations, such as dysphagia associated with GERD, GERD-related asthma, and chest pain, and in the therapy of Barrett’s esophagus.
- Eradicates Helicobacter pylori to reduce the risk of Duodenal Ulcer Recurrence.
- Suppress gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the gastric H+, and K+ ATPase at the secretory surface of the gastric parietal cell.
- Rabeprazole sodium produces a dose-related sustained inhibition of both basal and peptone meal-stimulated gastric acid secretion.
- Unlike other PPIs, rabeprazole forms a partially reversible bond with the proton pump; works at a broader range of stomach pH and thus may work for longer than other PPIs.
Sodium Bicarbonate
- Sodium bicarbonate in the outer layer is dissolved to act as an antacid in the stomach.
- Sodium bicarbonate as buffer protects active rabeprazole from gastric acid.
- Neutralizes the acid and gives immediate symptomatic relief.
- Increases pH in the gastric environment and thus facilitates the absorption of Rabeprazole.
